THE EQUIPMENT I love using my Nikon D-200, mainly for long exposures, and the manual settings for getting the RAW photos. It's a joy to be able to get consistent results with this camera. For situations where the neighborhoods doesn't permit breaking out the big Nikon, tripod with other gear, I love the portability of the Canon Powershot G10. The 14.7 mega pixels gives great quality shots, and the scene selector makes it easy to change in a flash what you feel is right for lighting the condition your in. It's a little small for my fat fingers, so I need to constantly check my dials if they have changed on me. But other than that, It is really a full packed camera, that you will enjoy using. I use my digital timer quite a bit, with the B&W ND 110, 3 stop very dark neutral density filter, when shooting during the day. Also at night, this digital shutter release really comes in handy, especially the light up digital display.
